Shipping
Where do you ship?
Currently, we only ship within NZ (excluding Waiheke, Chatham, and Stewart Islands). But we do have plans to ship to Australia in the near future. Join the Society to be the first to hear about shipping updates.
How much is shipping?
- For orders under $119, standard shipping is $9 to all standard residential addresses.
- For orders over $119, we offer free shipping to all standard residential addresses.
- There is an additional $5 fee for rural shipping.
When will my order ship?
We aim to have your order ready for courier collection within 24 hours from when you placed the order. You should start receiving tracking updates as soon as a tracking number is allocated.
If you haven’t received an email with your tracking information within 48 hours of placing your order, please get in touch at help@societyofmeow.com. Please include your order number in your email to assist us.
Do you ship to PO Boxes?
We are unable to ship to PO Boxes.

We aim to have your order processed as quickly as possible. However, if you haven’t received an email with your tracking information within 48 hours of placing your order, please get in touch at help@societyofmeow.com. Please include your order number in your email to assist us.
How can I change my shipping address?
We aim to process orders very quickly, but please email us at help@societyofmeow.com and we’ll do our best to have the address updated before it is sent out.

How do I make changes to or cancel an order I've already placed?
We aim to process your order quickly, so you get it ASAP. But in the first instance, please email us at help@societyofmeow.com with your order details and we will try help you out.
How can I check the status of my order?
As soon as your order has been processed you should received tracking information. This is the easiest way to see the status of your order. Please note, it can take a few hours for the courier company to sync up and register your parcel.
What should I do if I never received my order, or if it is lost or stolen?
Please reach out to us at help@societyofmeow.com with your order details and we will aim to get this resolved for you.

Payments and Gift Cards
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment via credit and debit cards only at this stage. But will be expanding our payment methods over time.
Do you sell gift cards?
We certainly do! SoM gift cards are digital. You can add these to your cart like any other item. We can send the gift card to you or directly to the gift recipient. Simply add the correct email address when prompted.
Can I use a discount code?
Of course! Simply add this as you go through the check out process. Please note, some discount codes do have exclusions attached to them and therefore may not work or apply to all products.
Returns
What is your return policy?
For all products in new, unopened, and re-saleable condition, we offer a 30-day return period from your order date. Please action a return request by contacting us at returns@societyofmeow.com with details of your return, reason for requesting your return, and your order number. We will provide further steps by email. But please note, return shipping is your responsibility to cover.
How do I action a return?
To action a return request, please contact us at returns@societyofmeow.com with details of your return, reason for requesting your return, and your order number. Once we have acknowledged this information, please organise shipping of the item/s you are returning to the address provided via email.
As soon as the item/s are back at SoM HQ and all criteria are confirmed to be met (new, unopened, and re-saleable condition), we will process your return and refund your money. Please note it can take up to 14 days for funds to appear back in your account depending on your payment method.
I’ve received my order and a product is faulty, what do I do?
We’re sorry to hear this and are keen to get this sorted for you. Please contact us at help@societyofmeow.com with details about the fault. If you can include photos that would be very helpful. And be sure to include your order number to assist us.

Where is Society of Meow located?
While we are an online only store, SoM HQ is based in Ōtepoti/Dunedin, New Zealand.
Why was Society of Meow started?
Because we strongly believe cats everywhere should be able to live their best life - all 9 of them. You can read more about Society of Meow on the Home page and About page.
